SHAWNEE STATE PARK

Shawnee State Park is 3,983 acres of Pennsylvania’s scenic Ridge and Valley Province. Ten miles west of the historic town of Bedford along US 30, Shawnee has modern recreational facilities that blend into the natural environment. A focal point of the park is the 451-acre Shawnee Lake.

 

Enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, hiking and cycling,  hunting, sledding, ice fishing, skating and more!

THE COFFEE POT

The iconic Coffee Pot is as much a Lincoln Highway landmark as the Lincoln Motor Court! Built in 1927 as a lunch stand, the building is one of only five coffee pot-shaped buildings left in the United States. It was saved due to the efforts of the Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor. Roadside America rates it as "Worth a Detour."
